FEAST Writers Collective is seeking writers and performers for SCRATCH NIGHT #4: JUICY.

Whether you're an aspiring playwright, a novelist curious about writing for the stage, a poet with a theatrical itch, or someone who has never shared their work before, we want to hear from you.

What is SCRATCH NIGHT?

SCRATCH NIGHT is a showcase of new works, works-in-progress, excerpts, scenes, sketches, monologues, and theatrical experiments.

Selected works are paired with local performers and rehearsed over several weeks before being presented script-in-hand to a live audience.

It is an opportunity to hear your words spoken aloud, test ideas, make changes, and see what resonates. The goal isn't perfection. It's about getting work on its feet and seeing where it goes.

The Theme: JUICY

What that means is entirely up to you.

Maybe it's gossip, food, family drama, a scandal, a secret, a ripe piece of fruit, or something completely unexpected. The theme is a creative prompt, not a rule. If the word juicy sparks an idea, feeling, image, or story for you, we want to see where it takes you.

Submission Requirements

We're looking for:

  • Scripts, scenes, excerpts, sketches, monologues, and other theatrical works

  • Pieces between 3 and 10 minutes

  • New work inspired by the theme JUICY

  • Works at any stage of development

Please include:

  • A script, scene, excerpt, sketch, monologue, or other theatrical work inspired by the theme JUICY

  • A running time between 3 and 10 minutes

  • A brief description of the work

  • Cast requirements (if known)

  • Your contact details
