SCRATCH NIGHT #2 - TIME

Presented by FEAST writers collective and The Wedge Performing Arts Centre, Scratch Night #2 was the second instalment of our emerging local writers development program.

Designed to support new and emerging writers from across the Wellington Shire, Scratch Night provided participants with the opportunity to develop fresh ideas, experiment with new work, and receive valuable feedback from both peers and audiences.

Over a 12-week development period, writers came together in a supportive and collaborative environment to workshop scripts, refine their craft, and build confidence in their creative practice. The program culminated in a showcase of original works written by local artists, celebrating the depth of storytelling talent within our community.

Audiences enjoyed an engaging evening of excerpts from new and developing plays, performed script-in-hand, offering a unique insight into the creative process and the exciting future of local theatre.
